Timothy D. Pettit
Timothy D. Pettit, Certified Public Accountant and Raimondo Pettit Group Managing Partner, specializes in corporate formations, structures, business tax planning for privately held companies and high net worth individuals. His responsibilities at RPG include:


Tim is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and has experience with a wide range of industries—manufacturing and distribution, professional and medical services, real estate, sports and entertainment.

As a former professional baseball player, Tim knows what it takes to be the best of the best and brings that work ethic to the office every day. His background includes a Master’s Degree in Business Taxation and becoming the youngest person promoted to partner in BDO Seidman’s history. Prior to co-founding RPG, Mr. Pettit contributed six years of service to BDO where he served on the firm’s national industry group for distributors, was a member of the firm’s strategic committee on image and culture, and led the industry group for workouts and bankruptcies in the Los Angeles area. Additionally, he was a leading instructor in the firm’s national continuing professional education program.

Jacques Welche
Jacques Welche, Certified Public Accountant and head of Raimondo Pettit Group’s Orange County office, is our multilingual, international expert in accounting and auditing services. He is licensed in both the United States and Belgium (Inactive). His responsibilities at RPG include:


Jacques is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, is a member of the Audit Committee for the California Society of CPAs, and volunteers his time on the board of directors for multiple not-for-profit organizations. He has extensive experience in merger and acquisitions, and has provided services to a variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, telecommunications and hospitality.

Jacques’ career began with a degree in Engineering in Commerce and Administration from the Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium, which led to a position with Coopers & Lybrand’s Brussels office in 1979, followed by a move to their Los Angeles and Newport Beach offices (where he served as Group Leader rendering services to international clients). In 1993 he made the move to RPG. Since then, Jacques has successfully worked with companies of every size—from start-ups to multi-billion dollar international groups. Additionally, Jacques has broad SEC experience (IPO and recurring reporting) and is proficient in understanding European business and accounting practices. He also assists his clients with acquisition due diligence procedures and performs peer reviews of other CPA firms.

J. Ted Vidmar
J. Ted Vidmar, Certified Public Accountant and Partner, specializes in accounting and auditing services, strategic financial planning and litigation consulting . His responsibilities at RPG include:



Ted is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants His industry experience includes manufacturing and distribution, international financing, marketing and distribution, real estate and construction contracting.

Ted graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Colorado College and began his accounting career at BDO Seidman where, for six years he provided accounting, audit and financial consulting services to domestic and international manufacturing, distribution, construction, real estate and retail companies. This was followed by a two-year engagement at the California Federal Bank where he implemented the FDIC Improvement Act before joining RPG in 1994. Ted provides our clients with a diversified financial perspective and technical understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.

Sharon Day
Sharon Day, Certified Public Accountant and Audit Partner, specializes in accounting and audit services, and assisting clients with various technical accounting issues. Her responsibilities and areas of expertise at RPG include:



Sharon’s professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a lifetime member of the professional business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. Sharon’s experience includes working with high net worth individuals and managing accounts in industries as varied as technology, insurance, employee benefit plans, manufacturing and distribution.

Ms. Day, RPG’s newest partner, graduated from California State University Fullerton, one of the
highly-regarded Southern California universities from which RPG recruits. She worked for Eurostar Inc. and Bank of America prior to joining RPG in 1998. In the twelve years she’s been with the firm, Sharon has proven herself invaluable in managing both client accounts and internal initiatives. With a rapidly changing economic climate and fluid accounting and tax regulations, it is imperative that RPG remains abreast of every shift in the financial industry. In addition to managing complex accounting and auditing engagements and advising clients on a wide range of technical issues, Sharon has continued to contribute to the firm’s technology committee, ensuring that RPG has all the tools and information it needs to keep the firm and its clients up-to-date on the latest in the industry.

Carol Raimondo
Carol Raimondo, Certified Public Accountant and Raimondo Pettit Group founding partner, is a nationally recognized authority in the field of estate and gift taxation. Her responsibilities at RPG include:



Carol is also a highly respected member of several professional affiliations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. She has served as a member of the AICPA Estate and Gift Tax Committee, President of the South Bay Estate Planning Council, a member of both the California Society of CPA’s Estate Planning Conference and Advanced Estate Planning Conference committees and has spoken at both accounting and legal forums on estate planning topics.

Ms. Raimondo’s career began with a Magna Cum Laude graduation from the University of Maryland, which led to years of building expertise and applying it to companies in a variety of industries for KMPG Peat Marwick in Washington D.C., BDO Seidman and finally, as founding partner at Raimondo Pettit Group.
